Hi, my name is Naiyi (Anjali). I am a former Project Manager and Software Consultant in the Healthcare and Supply Chain industries, with over two decades of experience. Currently Program Director at CAFAMH, a non-profit mental health organization. I am also a trained Trauma-Informed Yoga Teacher for Exhale to Inhale, and a Lifestyle Medicine advocate.
In 2009, I began practicing yoga at Yogashakti in Queens, New York, to relieve stress and prevent back pain. My practice brought a new sense of calm and stability into my hectic life. I was inspired to continue practicing yoga and meditation as a way of life and to share the many benefits of this practice with a wider audience. In 2014, I joined a yoga teacher program at the Yoga Teacher Training Institute (YTTI) and was inspired by the teacher Swami Mokshapriya to empower others to find their truest selves and their peace in the world through yoga and meditation. In 2025, I completed the Lifestyle Health and Wellness Coaching Program from Harvard Medical School, with a further understanding of integrating a holistic approach for wellness to wellbeing.
As a certified teacher, I facilitate and lead guided mindfulness and meditation practices through private coaching sessions, healthcare communities, and workshops and courses created for corporate organizations. I also teach Hatha yoga – a style of yoga focusing on posture and breathing techniques to help channel energy, and balance the body and mind – at studios throughout New York City (please contact me for additional information); and I teach yoga and breathing techniques at the Buddhist non-profit, Tzu-Chi (慈濟), in Flushing, New York. Additionally, I am certified in RYT-500, Reiki level 2, yoga for kids foundational training, and trauma-informed healing yoga.
My goal is to empower and lead others to find the truest versions of themselves and unlock their potential. As a teacher, I hope to bring peace, integrity, and loving relationships to life.
